SILK: The Road to Senior Advocate is a free, fictional game by The Meridian. Last updated 28 October 2026 (store and season added).
Characters, firms, clients, court scenes, Daily Briefs and Weekly Challenges are invented for the game. Nothing in SILK is legal advice or describes a real client matter. Scenario answers reflect general professional good practice for gameplay purposes only.
You can play SILK fully without joining anything. Your career is saved only in your own browser. Clearing your browser data deletes it unless you have made a cloud backup.
Joining SILK Online is optional. It gives you verified leaderboards, the Daily Brief, the Weekly Challenge, achievements, player cards, friend challenges and cloud backup. We ask only for a public display name. We do not ask for an email address, phone number or payment details.
Score = reputation ×10 + skill ×2 + network ×2 + quests completed ×100 + matters won ×50. Earnings are fees and income received in the game. The server recalculates every score from your statistics and rejects impossible values, impossible jumps between posts, and progress made faster than the game allows. Lifetime totals cannot go down. Daily Brief and Weekly Challenge answers are scored on the server, once per player per day or week.
SILK never messages your contacts. Links are shared only when you choose to share them. An invitation counts when your friend joins through your link, reaches in-game day 5 and completes a Daily Brief. Rewards are cosmetic achievements and card styles only. Self-referrals and repeat claims from the same network do not count.
Some seasons or competitions may be run with a sponsor or an institution such as a law firm, university or professional association. Any sponsorship is always labelled. Sponsors never change scoring, and there is no pay-to-win: anything for sale in future will be cosmetic only.
The SILK store sells optional cosmetic card styles only. They never change scores, ranks, Brief points or season results. Payments are processed by Paystack on Paystack's own checkout page, so SILK never sees or stores your card or bank details. Paystack asks for an email address to send your receipt. We pass it to Paystack and do not store it. We keep a record of the purchase reference, item, amount and status. For a refund or a problem with a purchase, email am@themeridian50.com with your payment reference.
The Detty Dizeeeembarrr season runs from 28 October to 26 December 2026 (Lagos time) and is sponsored by The Meridian, which publishes SILK. Season points follow the season rule above. Purchases never count towards season points.
Only if you allow it, SILK records anonymous gameplay events (for example a visit, finishing character creation, reaching day 7, sharing a card) against a random identifier stored in your browser. No advertising trackers and no tracking cookies. You can change your choice in SILK Online → More.
Offensive public names are blocked automatically and can be reported with the ⚑ button on the leaderboard. Moderators can hide profiles from public boards. There is no open chat in SILK.
